Reports
Touch the Reports button at the bottom of the page on the right.
Type an email address in the field at the top if you would like to send an email copy of the report.
Reports will remember the last email address that was used.
Instructions for printing the report or sending as a pdf file are at the end of this section.
If you recently finished an Observation, Reports will remember the Content Area and
 will be ready to prepare a Group or Student Skills Summary report for that Observation.


To close the keyboard, touch the button in the lower right hand corner of the keyboard.


Touch "i" to the right of Content Area to select type of Content.


Touch the name of a Content Area.
If the Content Area name is not visible, press on the name of a Content Area and slide up until the name is highlighted in the middle.
Then touch Done.


Touch "i" to the right of Report to select type of Report.


Touch the name of a Report.
If the Report name is not visible, press on the name of a Report and slide up until the name is highlighted in the middle.
Then touch Done.


Next step is to select which Group or Student. For this example, you select a Student.
Use Class to restrict the list of Students to those in a Class.
Touch "i" to the right of Student to select the name of a Student.


Touch the name of a Student.
If the Student name is not visible, press on the name of a Student and slide up until the name is highlighted in the middle.
Then touch Done.


Touch the Prepare Report button.


Note: the Skills used as examples are not included with this app.

Touch the Send button in the top right to send the report as an email.
Or, touch the Cancel button in the top left if you only wanted to view the report.


Touch Delete Draft to return to the Reports page if you touched Cancel instead of Send.


By default, demonstrated skills are contracted to the second skill level but that can be changed to show more levels of detail.
In this example, the skill level is changed to 3.
Hint: touch in another field (like email address) after changing the level if the tablet does not accept your change.


In this example, demonstrated skills are displayed on the report through skill level 3.
There are additional lines under "Uses nonfiction features" which did not appear on the earlier example.


The report would look different if you are using the optional Standards-based Grading Rubric.
The optional Standards-based Grading Rubric is available by pressing Tools at the bottom of the page.


If you are using the optional Standards-based Grading Rubric, then the scoring code will be on the left.


Some reports like Group or Student Skills Summary allow a Report as of a date in the past.
If you would like a Report as of a date in the past, touch "i" to the right of the bottom field.


Touch a date from the past.
Then touch Done.


The Status and Progress reports can be customized to show more columns across the page.
If you change to more than 2 columns, you will need to print the report in landscape instead of portrait -
 if you emailed the report as text in the email.
If you widen the report so that it wraps to the next line, you might change the font size.


If you would like the report to be sent to a printer,
then, touch the radio button for Printed.
For a shorter report; select a Class, Student or Group.
Touch the Prepare Report button.


If you have a printer available on your network,
then select a printer and options for printing.


If you would like the report to be in a pdf file,
then, touch the radio button for Sent as pdf attachment in Email.
Type an email address in the field below the radio buttons.
For a shorter report; select a Class, Student or Group.
Touch the Prepare Report button.


Touch the Send button in the top right to send the report as an email attachment.
